We are pleased to announce the opening of registration for our annual Data Stewardship Course, specifically designed for PhDs and postdocs. This comprehensive course is a unique opportunity offered once a year and is structured into three distinct modules to provide a thorough understanding and practical experience in data management.
Course Modules:
Module 1: Online Lectures (self-paced, participants received a certification after successfully fulfilling the final online test)
- Start Date: now
- This module is entirely online and consists of reading materials, videos, and tests. Participants will gain foundational knowledge about data stewardship practices.
Once you manage to go through module 1, modules 2 & 3 will open for you. Dates will be announced.
Module 2: Workshops and Local Assignments
- Location: UCT, Prague
- Dates: Fall 2024 (specific dates to be announced)
- This module involves hands-on workshops and assignments conducted in local working teams. It is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with peers and apply the knowledge gained from Module 1 in a practical setting.
Module 3: Workshops and Regional Assignments with Employers
- Locations: Orlen Petrol & Zentiva
- Dates: To be specified (includes a trip to Orlen & Zentiva)
- This final module includes workshops and regional assignments with industry leaders, providing participants with valuable real-world experience and networking opportunities.
